Sunday School Workers Appreciation LunchIf you’re currently a part of the Sunday School Workers Team or would like to join us, please make plans to attend the luncheon on Sunday, October 12th in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the morning service. Please call Alicia Defenderfer - 470-8733 for more information.
It’s that time again! We need sign ups for the children’s Sunday School Workers rotation schedule. Please help us with this most noble cause, helping to instill the love of Christ into our children’s heart. They are the next generation and we want them to have the best foundation to usher in His Kingdom. If you have a child in Sunday School, we need you to serve just once a month for 6 months. If you don’t have children and would like to serve as well, please join our team. We would love to have you
Women's Ministry EventJoin us for a relaxing evening with your sisters on Friday October 24th in the Sanctuary from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
You are invited to come for a movie, fun, food, and fellowship to kick off our friendships, find our mentors, get our encouragement, and most of all discover the Father's love for us all! We will be playing the white elephant game! For those of you who don’t know how to play, just bring any small wrapped gift from your house and we’ll tell you the rest the night of the party. Come wearing your favorite PJs, bring a pillow and blanket, or anything comfortable. And please bring a friend! We need everyone to RSVP by October 21st so we know how much food to prepare.
Connectors MeetingIf you are new to Trinity or a new believer in Christ, please join us this Wednesday, October 8th at 7:00 PM in the 3-year-old classroom on the lower level. We would like to get to know you. If you would like more information, please call the church office - 688-9991.

Spirit Led prayer—Upstairs Foyer - 7:00 PM
Spirit Led PrayerFriday Nights, 7 PM in the Foyer. Join with us as we unite together, to pray God's heart... as the Holy Spirit leads us into various prayer assignments.
Contact Dawn Cooper for more info. 922-4617 or dhcooper@vic.com
We have an ongoing meeting, Friday nights at 7 pm at the church in the hospitality room. We will pray from 7 pm until there is a sense that we have finished what the Holy Spirit has for us to pray for the evening. We will most likely begin the meeting with some worship and a short bit of instruction or sharing from the Word to get us all in the same flow for the prayer assignment for the night.
We feel strongly that the Lord desires to develop a united group of pray-ers that will be able to flow together as one "man", with Him, accomplishing His heart in prayer. Although our prayer topic will not be pre-defined, we will endeavor to pray well grounded in His Word and submitted to leadership, so that we are in concert with God's authority structure and flow of order.
Please begin to believe God with us for His agenda/leading in these prayer times. There are details, strategies, purposes in Him (both known and unknown) that need to be prayed out for the Body of Christ at Trinity, the city/region and for the Kingdom of God in this hour. Many of them are being covered (there are numerous other mature prayer parts in operation at Trinity and throughout the city) but we are seeking to expand the kinds of prayer being expressed and we need each member of the body fitly joined to get things done.
We've all read about great seasons/sessions of Spirit prompted united prayer in the bible and in books. I believe that if we all come expecting the Lord to meet with us in a fresh way, to further develop His house of prayer in us as individuals and through us as a body -- we will see some mighty things done by His Spirit!
Please try to read and meditate in Ephesians 1, and 3 the prayers Paul prayed over the church before you come...these prayers will be some of our most effective tools in praying for ourselves and the body at large. We especially felt drawn to this one in praying for the body at Trinity.
I look forward to joining with you in prayer this week!
Eph 1: 16 - 23
...do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Eph. 3:12, 14-21
in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Scrapbooking Group Come join us every 3rd Friday of the month from 6 PM—Midnight.
Hallelujah Hoedown 2008 10/31/2008-10/31/2008We need your help!
Friday, October 31st - 5:00 PM ‘til 9:00 PM at Trinity Chapel.
We are excited to once again offer an alternative to Halloween for the kids, but more than that, a great family time for the body! We want to bless all of the children that come. Please invite anyone from your community and allow them to dress in costumes. We desire Jesus to move in the lives of kids all over this town.
In order to make this event happen, we need everyone to be involved. This is a Trinity Chapel family event and has been instrumental in bringing people to the Lord in the past couple of years.
We are asking for volunteers to coordinate and/or help run events such games, food booth, activities or rides. With everyone working, we can rotate workers every hour.
What an opportunity to work together with our friends and families and bless the neighborhood children with God’s love and light during a night when the world glorifies darnkness.
We need organizational skills: One coordinator per activity to organize the workers to run that activity.
Workers: At least 8 people for each activity to rotate throughout the entire evening. Sorry, we can only use people 18 years and above for the inflatable rides.
Candy, Candy, and more Candy: We really want to bless the children with bountiful Goody Bags so they don’t feel they have missed out on the trick or treating. Please bring candy in this week to the Hoedown table in the Foyer.
Baked Goods: Please bring baked goods to the Hoedown for everyone to enjoy!
9th Annual Chili Cook-off: Anyone can enter this stiff, tasty competition. Chili will be judged in categories like, hottest edible chili, meatiest, most unusual, best overall and many more. All entries must be at the church before 4:30 in name labeled crock pots! After the judging, we will use the chili to make chili, chips, and cheese for supper!
Chili must be at the church building no later than 4:30 PM, October 31st, in a crock pot to keep it warm. Be sure to label your crock pot, lid, and ladle with your name. Also label whether the chili is hot or not!!! We will not have a hottest chili category this year!
Baked goods are also needed. Please bring any baked goods to the hoedown. Label any pans with your name. Using disposable pans would be best. Please bring finger pastries only. No pies or cakes please.
Please bring candy!! Last year we needed to buy $1000.00 worth of candy to make sure we had enough. Please help us collect enough candy bags.
Children are welcome to dress up but please make sure any Trinity Chapel children’s costumes honor the Lord.
