Churchwide Fasting and Prayer

Churchwide fasting and prayer has begun. Choose the fast that you wish and join us in our house church meetings for prayer. Prayer topics include:

Revelation of the Person and work of Christ (Gospel understanding)
Personal spiritual renewal
Corporate unity around our vision
Missional living

In the Beginning: A Study of Old Testament History
Wednesday Evenings, 7 PM

"In the Beginning" is an in-depth study of the Old Testament. It is not possible to have a proper understanding of the New Testament without understanding the Old. This study follows the chronological flow of Old Testament history from the creation of the world to the return from Babylonian Captivity.

"A God Worth Knowing: A Study of the Glorious Person of our God."

This series is based on the premise that the concept of God in the Church today is in serious need of updating. Special emphasis will be given to understanding how the proper knowledge of God is essential to healthy Christian living. Through careful biblical exposition, these messages seek to lead God's people to a God-encounter—coming to terms with the glorious Person of God as revealed in Holy Scripture so that the knowledge of God becomes the sweetest thing on earth.

Preferences versus Convictions: Understanding the Difference
Because unity in the Body of Christ is of utmost importance, we must be careful not to confuse preferences and convictions. A preference is "a personal desire for something; a wish or desire for something we would prefer over something else." A conviction (from a Christian perspective) though, is something that is deeply rooted in biblical principle and therefore non-negotiable.
